Orange Renewable Power

Orange Mamatkheda Wind Private Limited (OMWPL) is setting up wind power project at villages around Gurmitkal Mandal of Yadgir District, Karnataka. The total installed capacity of the project activity is 60 MW comprising of 30 nos of Gamesa G-97 turbines of 2.0 MW each. The activity leads to an emission reduction of 898,870 tCO2 for the chosen crediting period of 7 years renewable with the annual average emission reduction of 128,410 tCO2e.

Fulton County Department of Solid Waste

A total of 105 acres is available for actual landfill. In 2007, major upgrades and expansions to the existing landfill gas collection system were undertaken in order to produce enough landfill gas of sufficient quality for sale to a landfill gas to energy (LFGTE) plant.  The LFGTE plant combusts all of the landfill gas collected.

VTRM Energia Participações S.A.

VTRM Renewable Energy is a grouped project that consists in the implementation and operation of wind power plants in Brazil. All plants will supply clean electricity to the Brazilian National Interconnected System. Ventos do Araripe III Complex has total installed capacity of 358.8 MW and estimated annual average GHG emission reductions of 652,150 tCO2.

CI-Energies

The Soubré Hydro Power Plant located on the Sassandra river near the Soubré village, Côte d’Ivoire. The run-of-river hydropower plant with a capacity of 270 MW and a micro-hydro power plant of 5.5 MW has  a total estimated average gross electricity generation of 1,170 GWh per year, fed by a 17.3 km² reservoir. The three 225 kV transmission lines connect to the national grid transmission lines (Soubré-Buyo, Soubré-San Pedro and Soubré-Taabo).

HOSDERE ENERJI A.S.

The Sena Hydro Electric Power Plant is in the Kağızman county of the city of Kars, Turkey. 
The Project’s objective is to generate zero emission electricity to be connected to the national grid. The hydro electric power plant is comprised of the construction of a green field 21.4 MWe1 hydroelectric power plant located in the Aras River basin in Turkey.  The power house buildings plan to consist of two units having outputs of 10.718 MWe each.

AIDER

The project is developed in 7 native communities belonging to the Shipibo Conibo and Cacataibo ethnicity.  The purpose of the project is to protect against the deforestation and degradation advance. It’s goal is to reduce the pressure to change the land use in the project area with 4 components: proper use of communal land, capacity building for the management of natural resources, project finance and market linkages and finally strategic alliances. Actions taken are intended to prevent the advance of deforestation.  The system control and monitoring of communities intends to be strengthened through the establishment and operation of a community monitoring, through a strategy of community participation. The project hopes to avoid an annual average net emissions of 564,818.5 tCO2- e according to the reference scenario projected for the first 10 years. 
Additional project benefits the conservation of biodiversity, beyond the benefits of reducing GHG emissions. The project has applied the standards of Climate, Community & Biodiversity Association.

WILL Solutions

The Quebec Sustainable Community project gathers more than 850 GHG reduction micro-projects carried out by several small and medium-sized companies from various sectors, non-profit organizations and Quebec small municipalities. These include energy conversion, energy efficiency and waste management-oriented micro-projects (transport soon).
